Redemption Period: Three years (Sec. 42-18152 New Window).

Important: According to state statute, real estate property tax liens do not take priority to a state lien. Therefore, your parcel research should include a scan for senior liens including state liens. Properties encumbered with senior and state liens should be avoided (Sec. 42-18204 New Window).
