Can I buy tax deed certificates over the counter after the sale date has passed in Connecticut ?
TaxLienUniversity.com
Connecticut sells hybrid tax deeds in June not tax lien certificates. Connecticut statute states that real property is sold at the public tax sale to the highest bidder. Within 2 weeks of the tax sale a tax deed is executed and delivered to the purchaser. After the 1-year redemption period has expired the deed is recorded.
